I’ve just bought Adobe’s ‘Photoshop CS3 Classroom in a Book’ but the Quicktime Movie Tutorials on the accompanying CD don’t seem to play properly – just purple and green stripes! Any idea what might be the problem?
I have Quicktime installed on my computer.

try updating Quicktime to the latest version, can you copy the video files to your HDD and play them from there.

I have the latest version of Apple Quicktime player.

No, that doesn’t work either. Are the files encrypted?

Can you play the movies on a friend’s/colleague’c PC?
It’s not unknown for these CD’s to have problems.

google for k-lite codec pack and install the full version. You might also google for the quicktime alternative player and install. I play all movies on my windows media player with these installed. Media Player on vista.
