I’m trying to create an image where the amount of color I paint is based on the mouse movement, i.e. if I paint to the right I’ll get 100% of the color I paint, and if I paint up or down I’ll get 0% of the color I paint, and then the same thing for painting up and down. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this, or if there are any plug-ins around that would help? Thanks

I suspect you would have to create a new tool for Photoshop to do such a thing. Even a filter couldn’t do this. It would be very difficult for a user to make a modification like this, and I can’t see much of an application for the average user, so I doubt Adobe would add it as a feature. (You can ask in the feature request section at the top of the list).
