CS2 – Vista – My Shape tool outline is multicolor

I have a multi layered document. I want to add rounded rectangles with the tool. For some (lucky) reason, I’m getting only the outline – this is what I actually want. But the outline is multicolored/ gradient?. How can I get it to become a solid color and where do I adjust thickness. What if I did want the fill to be solid – is that just a select and fill issue?

Sounds like a Style is applied, so..look in the styles dialog. I’m guessing the answer is under Stroke.
