I know Elements 4 is way behind the latest, but I would appreciate any help. I want to save a transparent background against a black foreground. I’m on Mac OS 10.4.11 and I’m saving the elements site to the Mac desktop. When it looks good on the elements site it transfers with a white backgroung, not transparent!

You can only save transparency using certain formats. Tiff and gif work, you will need to dig further for a complete list.
