While visiting my mother, I started Photoshop Elements (version 1) and noted that the toolbar was missing. In its place is a very small box which, when right-clicked, displays a window that references Adobe Online. Clicking Hide Tools/Show Tools removes and displays this small box.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no avail. Oddly, the Smudge Tool preferences are displayed at the top, which would be fine if I ever wanted to use it, but there is no way for me to get to the other, useful tools.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening here? Any idea how to get the tool bar back?
Cheers –
