How to share catalogs (using PE4)

Hi,
I use PE4 on my desktop PC (XP Pro SP2), but want to use also the same catalog on my wireless laptop running Vista business 32bit.

I have tried to make the catalog directory shared in the network so that the laptop can access this directory. Trying to open this catalog on the laptop will freeze PE4.
I then saved the catalog to a shared directory on my fileserver. No problem using this catalog with my desktop PC, but not on the laptop.

How do I solve this problem?

Please disregard the post. The problem was related to a unstable Vista system and a not 100% successful PE4 installation on the laptop. Since I installed a clean OS and installed PE4 again, everything works like a charm.
