Hi,
I’m not sure this is the right group because I have a few adobe programs installed, and one of them has put "adobe photdownloader" in my start up list, and I can’t make it go away.
If I run windows configuration utility, XP, and uncheck it, it loads anyway and rechecks itself in the startup menu. Can anyone tell me how to make it stop loading at boot up without having to uninstall the adobe software?
TIA,
Mike

Try this.
Open Photoshop Elements.
Click Edit/Preferences/Camera or Card reader.
Uncheck Autolaunch Adobe Photo Downloader on device connect. Click OK.

See if that turns it off for you.
