Hello Everyone,

I would like to print a ‘contact sheet’ of all of the jpegs in a directory.

Essentially, I would like to print something similar to the thumbnails of photos in a directory.

Has anyone done this? Does my question make sense?

Thanks in advance.

Under file > print layouts > contact sheet might be a good place to start, or make a picture package that has what you want.

That is for PSE 2, my newer installation is on a different machine.

I quite often print a "Contact sheet" of images which are in a folder. Especially of negatives which I have scanned in.

However I tend to use the big Photoshop for this task. Elements can also do it but the various versions seem to have different ways of getting started.

Put "contact sheet" into the "Search for box" on Help and you will get a specific answer for your version.

It does help to have all the images in the same orientation.

You can also use Windows XP print option.
Go to the folder that contains the JPGS.
In the task pane to the left, click Print Pictures.
Follow the Wizard.
On the 4th step of the wizard, there is an option to print thumbnails of the photos in that folder. It’s called Contact Sheet.
Works great for simple printing.
