PS Action to resave file with original file date

Does anyone know how to create an action that does say resizing and save or save as with the "original unaltered" file date?

I created an action that does a save for web and the metadate of original file date is now gone.

Is this even possible?

I know you can do it in ACDSee program, but prefer PS and Bridge.

"Save for Web" intentionally removes all superfluous content like metadata to minimise file size.

Use "Save as… ".

Or use the Image Processor and forget actions.
