On XP using CS2.
When downsizing a Screen sized (1024×768) JPEG using ‘Save As’; I get a file size result that is aprox 30kb larger than stated in the JPEG Options Size description.
I am attempting to make a highest quality image that must be between 50kb -110kb for my web server. With the above, I am sizing in the 4 & 5 range to stay inside 110KB.
I don’t understand why this is happening.
Image process is JPEG to LR convert to TIFF. Into PS, re-size to screen JPEG, then Web JPEG(500×350). The last step is the problem.
Suggestions ?
Cheers,
John
