i have been using Photoshop Elements 3 for years
i am running XP sp2 on a dell system
18 months old 160 GB hard drive 39 GB free
1.5 GB RAM 63% free
When i start up the organizer, while looking at task manager, the Page file goes from 4% to 56% or 60%
The program opens half way up and hangs. in the task manager applications window PE3 shows as "not responding"
this happens every time.
does anyone have experience with system resources and why this would freeze now when it never did before?
my next step is to uninstall and reinstall PE3 but from past experience i know this will mess up the catalog.
