I’m a new user of PS Elements 4.0 for Mac . . . can anyone tell me where to find the burn and dodge tools the user guide talks about?!?! I can’t find them anywhere.

Thanks for your help, direct email appreciated!

Yes, I’m having trouble with tools.
Dodge, burn and others are not in the toolbox.
Do I have to add them?
If so How!!!

The last tool is actually 3 tools. Hold your cursor on the tool, a box pops out, you’ll see sponge, dodge & burn.

All the tools that have a little black triangle like thing in the lower right corner have pop out boxes…

No, the last tool is edit in PS
Next to last is Full Screen modes, and above is preview doc. and in IE The full list has 13 pairs of entries.

Sorry, This is a Photoshop Elements group. (adobe.photoshop.elements) The original Question in this thread referred to Elements 4.0.

Perhaps you should repost your question in a Photoshop group.
