I’ve always been happy with the simple, effective red eye reduction tool in Elements, but today it’s behaving differently. Instead of getting rid of the red reflection only, it now changes the hue of the skin inside the selection box of the red eye tool. It never did that before. I could select a box around an eye and only the red pupil would change. Now it looks like the entire contents of the selected area goes grey scale. The only thing I installed lately was ACDSee 8 Pro. I guess tomorrow, I’ll uninstall it to see if that’s the culprit unless there’s a simple setting change I’m not seeing.
