I goofed! I was tired and when I hit "Save As" I put the file name in both the File Name and File Type. For example, I put File Name as 11×8 and File Type as _5Back when I wanted the file name to be 11x8_5Back and the file type to be Photoshop. Now Photoshop can’t open the file. Is there any way to recover? Thanks in advance.

If you are on a windows box, duplicate the file and rename the file with the correct extention (.psd)…it might fix it! (We have to do this with Mac user files all the time as they forget to append their extentions to files…

Hello,
Just reveal your file with an ordinary file manager (like Total Commander) and rename "11×8._5Back" to "11x8_5Back.psd"
