I get a pretty corrupt display with PS CS3 under XP on my PC.

It is as if the screen doesn’t refresh itself when I move windows around or open and close palettes.

I am running the latest version of the graphics drivers on my workstation as well as the latest updates to XP.

I am using an Nvidia Quadro FX4500 card with 2 DVI connected LCD monitors, one at 1920×1200 and the other at 1600×1200.

I have 4gb RAM and have all the Adobe CS3 apps up to date.

Other CS3 apps work fine inc. After Effects.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Phil

Update drivers on the video card…check mouse drivers…turn down hardware acceleration…

I have the same problem. I have an Nvidia GeForce 7950GT card with 2 DVI connected LCD monitors.

I suspect there is some compatibility problem with Nvidia cards and photoshop CS3 but haven’t tracked down what yet.

At the moment Photoshop CS3 for me is unusable.

I just found some updated drivers on the Nvidia website.

So far PS is working much better with no issues although Bridge still has display problems.

At least PS is usable now.
