I need to be able to save pictures shot in RAW to a regular jpeg file (not jpg 2000).
Can this be done? I have not been able to do it with Elements 4.0. All help appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi.

You have given very much info, but I suspect you are making your RAW conversion into 16 Bit Colour. Try converting to 8 Bit and then "Save As" should list the regular crappy Jpeg.

yes – the regular jpeg is by definition an 8-bit format – duh back to you!
