This is something I have not really come across before. Starting Photoshop, create a new document, and when I try to do something i.e. use the fill tool, it has the brush outline, and when used shows in history as eraser, the same goes for brush, marquee, in fact there are only 2 tool that do their function correctly, and that is slice.. and oddly enough eraser. Have shut down windows and restarted Photoshop, still the same occurrence. Is there anything I should delete like some preset that Photoshop stores in documents and settings (something I found on the internet if Photoshop is crashing before loading when loading presets). This is causing much frustration, as the problem can be intermittent and obviously renders Photoshop unusable.
