I consider Foucs Magic to be a great addition to PSE, and much better than the native sharpening tools. When I switched from PSE 3.0 to 4.0 yesterday, I lost my plug-in connection to Foucs Magic. The solution turned out to be very simple. In the Plug-in folder under PSE 3.0 there was a file FocusMgic.8bf. When I simply copied this to the corresponding folder for PSE 4.0, Focus magic appeared on the Filter menu as it should.
I haven’t seen comment on one of the major new twists that is new in
4.0. Since 1.0 I’ve been looking for Adobe to make the cursor visible
against dark backgrounds…and they have for 4.0. It make cloning much easier in dark backgrounds.
