Photo studio with Photoshop

I want to connect my digital camera to my laptop and using Photoshop 7 take some pictures of items I want to sell on my website. I want to be able to see the subject on the computer screen before taking the picture, just like a photo studio. Once the camera is connected, how do I do that in Photoshop?

I have Windows Vista.

You have to use your camera maker’s tethered shooting software.
