File Size too big – PSE3.0 and Nikon Coolscan V ED

Just ‘upgraded’ to PSE3 last night and ran into a problem scanning 35mm slides with my Nikon Coolscan V ED. I use the ‘get picture from scanner’ option to do a TWAIN import. The Nikon scan software opens up but when I click ‘scan’, the Nikon software closes and PSE3 report a ‘file size too big’ error.

Note this was never a problem with Photoshop Album 2 which I was previously using.

Also, I can scan a slide seperatly, save the file (jpeg or tiff) into a folder, then import into PSE3 with no problem.

Suggestions?
