I have a canon powershot S70 camera and canon Pixma ip 4000 printer. Using photoshop elements all pictures are printing with a strip of white on the top and bottom. I have tried every setting including borderless printing and nothing has worked. If someone emails me a picture, it prints with no borders, so it may be my camera. I called canon tech support and they don’t know photoshop-so I am out of luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What size [in pixels] are the images from your camera?
What size paper are you using?

Colin has likely isolated the issue: if the aspect ratio of the image does not match the aspect ratio of your paper, you end up with white borders on two sides. If the images you are being sent are already cropped to an appropriate aspect ratio, printing them without borders is no problem.
