Changing date in Metadata

It seems I had not set the year in my camera and all of my last batch of pics came out dated in 2006.

Is there a way to correct that?
It appears that the "Date Created" can not be modified (and I can understand good reasons for that.)

But, I would still like to change it to 2007

Google "file date changer" and take your pick of the utilities…

Note that the file created date used by the system may or may not ripple into the meta data, so you may need to try several utilities, but there are many of them out there, and may of them are free.
