Doesn’t PS place the images on the contact sheet according to the collating sequence of the file names?

Probably by naming them with sequential numbers.

Thx 4 the reply. I was opening files in CS3 thru file association in Win Explorer that did not work. Hence, my help request. So I opened the same files thru Open in CS3 and did my contact sheet. Did work in sequence as u said. Thx for the hint that there was a way to make it work!
