I use PS 6 WIN with WIN XP my patterns were switched to a scratch disk to speed up my PS. A dialog box presented with a choice to do this while I was using PS6.I had 30 patterns stored and also saved on a disk. I was told it is not a good idea to use removable media for the patterns. How can I access the scratch disk holding my patterns? I want to use Edit>fill with the stored patterns.

This allowed me to access the patterns in Illustrators but no the patterns I originally had in Photoshop. How do I access the scratch disk? I tried holding down Atl-Ctrl upon start up however that did not work.

The scratch disk is whichever drive(s) you nominated in PS Preferences.

That’s if you meant the scratch disk in Photoshop terminology.

Just navigate to that, or the other disk where you copied them.
