Problem installing Photoshop 7 on new computer

I just got a new pc and am trying to install Photoshop 7 onto it. However, the setup install shield wizard gets stuck at 99% complete. Is there a way to get past this? I am running XP home.

Turn off or disable any antivirus software you have. You might also consider disabling your firewall. See if that helps.

Additionally, try copying the disk to your hard drive and run setup from there.
