Converting fps format to a jpeg format

I have a number of digital images stored on ZIP discs that are in an eps and fps format. How do do I convert all these images into a jpeg format?
I don’t remember how I formatted these images in the first a couple of years back when I was teaching myself all things digital.

Open -> Save as?

If you can open them, Save As jpg (or Save for Web).

But opening .fps might be a problem. Don’t know what that is.
