I was conducting an interview at the PS CS forum…. that’s right, CS; Anyway it has been suggested that Mac monitors be calibrated at 2.2 Gamma.

Opinions?

Thanks.

That’s not what I was told by tech support at ColorVision when I called to ask a question about calibrating with my Spyder. All I can say is that I can finally get a print that matches what’s on my screen, and the Gamma is not at 2.2 anymore.

All you asked for was an opinion, right? 🙂

Yes, Thanks Beth.
This is probably one of those color management things where there are many different opinions. I will say that I find it a little disturbing when I look at that Windows monitor preview in the Save For Web section and see my images appear more contrasty.
