When I install Elements it begins consuming 98%+ of system CPU resources. I have to go into the Windows Task Manager/Processes and manually delete the elements application in order to return to some reasonable level of performance.

What is going on here? Anyone else have that problem?

I’m on a Win XP system.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

The symptoms you describe, though they don’t happen to everyone, can probably be cured with the procedure described in this FAQ:

Bob, thanks for this reference. It certainly seems to include my issues. I will give it a try later today.

Thanks again,

Sid….

This may be obvious but have you tried measuring the paper. Kodak 6 x 4 paper is actually 6.5 inches long, giving you a longer border one edge.
