Recovering a catalog after system rebuild

I had to rebuild my whole system (don’t ask!) and have restored all my photographs from a backup, but I cannot find the catalogs and custom tags to restore. Where are they?

This techdoc has the default folder location for the Elements 3 catalog (just ignore the parts about PS Album)

The tag information is in this Catalog.
Believe that this is in a hidden Windows folder, so you may need t enable viewing of hidden folders.

Hopefully, your photo files have the same drive letter and folder path name as previously. If not, come back for more discussion of alternatives and considerations.
