Viewing files in order

I view a list of pictures in thumbnail format in the file browser. I double click on one to open it full size. Is there a way to simply click or hit a key to go open the next file in the list? That’s more convenient than closing that window and opening a new one from the file list.

You can CTRL-click on the files you want to open and open them all at once.
