Before taking some photos with my Olympus C5050, I left the batteries out for a while. When the next batch of photos were taken, the dates on all of them reverted back to Jan 1, 2002 or some such thing.
This isn’t the first time. The last time I found out how to get into the EXIF information and change it to reflect the correct date and time. This is important for the way the photos are displayed in some programs, such as Adobe Photo Album, etc.
I can’t for the life of me remember how I was able to access and change this information last time. Was it through WINDOWS EXPLORER, or could I do it in PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS?
Thanks.
(note to OLDnSENILE) thanks for the response. i was able to join the forum. i still can’t change the EXIF info with your instructions. am I missing something? I can view it but can’t change it.
You told me "in the "FILE" drop down menu, select "File Info" In the "section" drop down, select "EXIF" in place of "General" Look for "Date Time Original."
