Trouble Printing on Macpro CS3 applications

I got the new macpro dual core recently and I’m having trouble printing from CS3 applications. CS2 applications print fine. I’m printing to a xerox docucolor 12. On our other powermac g5 cs3 applications print fine. I noticed on photoshop cs3 on the macpro it won’t let me pick anything other than binary encoding. On the powermac ascii85 is selected. Any advise is much appreciated!
