Error: Interger Required When Opening Performance Preference!!CS3 Extnd

PHOTOSHOP CS3 EXTENDED

Every time I go to Edit>Preferences>Performance

there is an error pop up saying

"An Integer between 32 and 12 is required. Closest Value is set."

once I click okay, nothing happens. even thought you keep click it, it dosent go away. so which means i have to terminate the program in task manager.

re started Photoshop, restarted the computer, havent even open an image to work with yet and it still says that.

I have the same problem. To fix it, I uninstalled PS CS3 completely, then reinstalled it and edit>preferences>performance worked fine. Then I made a big mistake and applied the security update and got the integer error again.

It does still seem to remember my scratch disk preferences even if I can’t access the performance page.
