Hey everybody I’m having a problem with the color in Photoshop… when I view an image in Photoshop, the image is drastically different in color than it would be in a web browser, or anywhere else in Windows. I’ve tried screwing with the Color Settings but nothing seems to do anything… basically I want either Photoshop or Windows to have the truest color, so how do I do this? Is Photoshop showing me the legit or is Windows? Blah

calibrate your monitor. pre-cs3 you can use adobe gamma in the control panel. if all you have is cs3, you need a 3rd party calibration utility.

For about $200USD the Gretag/X-Rite EyeOne is pretty much where it’s at for monitors these days.
