Does any one know how to creat special effects brushes like the ones already in photoshop? any link to a tutorial will be greatly appreciated.

you basically want to open up a blank canvas to start. Then create some sort of pattern or texture that you want. Then go to Edit > Save Brush Preset. A box will appear asking you to give it a name. Save it, and it should then be in with the rest of your brushes. Hope this helps and good luck!
