brush doesn’t paint, but history shows it does

brush tool in Photoshop completely freaking out. It doesn’t leave mark on canvas. It is alsou true for other tools, that works on brush principle, like stamp, history brush and so… History pallet shows that I am using those instruments, but on picture it doesn’t show.
We did restart computer so many times, we completely uninstall Photoshop and install it back, we searched internet, but nobody knows what to do.
please help, I am gonna loose my mind here

Trash /Reset Preferences as per the FAQs

First thing to check if you have a Wacom tablet is that the mouse is well away from the tablet if you are using the stylus, or vice-versa.

If that doesn’t fix it try deleting your Photoshop preferences these are NOT deleted or overwritten by an un-install/re-install.
