When CMYK# is listed as the color as the color mode in the file information at the top of the PhotoShop window, what does this mean? We have several images that have had this mode indicated and these images fail to pass through our Assura preflight system intact. If we change the mode to RGB then back to CMYK the # sign disappears. Thanks in advance for the input.

The # means there is no color profile embedded in the file. I suspect when you change to RGB it picks up that embedded color profile.
