What exactly do You mean by settings?
Do You want to apply Adjustments or edit the File Info?

Both are possible in Bridge. Please clarify exactly what you want to do, before anyone here wastes time addressing something you don’t need

I have several dozen images with lens distortion which needs correction. The distortion is almost uniformly the same in each image. Rather than open each image up, I’d like to apply a lens distortion adjustment to all the images without opening them up.

If this is possible, are other adjustments possible, such as Levels, USM, for example?

Am overdue for CS4 upgrade needless to say. Thanks for any help you may offer.

You do know that you can open multiple raw images in Camera Raw, select All and Synchronize them, don’t you?

In Bridge you can also select multiple files, then Edit > Develop Settings > Paste Settings.

Haven’t been able to use ACR with CS1 in a long time.
Time to move up to CS4. The Bridge seems a good way to batch.

You don’t necessarily need RAW. You can batch process them with the Lens correction filter. Just need to record an action step, and do it that way.

That misses the point, Mark. All adjustments in ACR are non destructive.

That’s your point Ramon, not his. Ray never mentioned RAW, and even suggested Photoshop adjustments as part of the process. This combined with the fact that he has CS1, would suggest that a non RAW suggestion would be his best answer. Unless of course he actually wants to pay the upgrade price, doesn’t he have to buy a NEW license now anyway?

You could possibly be right, Mark; but I haven’t heard anyone refer to image editing, manipulation and adjustments in Photoshop as "settings".

exactly, don’t get caught short like all the people who had Photoshop 7 and just expected to be able to upgrade when PS7 would not work on their new Intel Macs.
