I have been experiencing a problem that seems to have existed in CS (based on google forums), and maybe prior versions too.
Basically, if I select the text tool and begin typing, the letter will not appear until I type the NEXT character. There are also rendering problems when deleting characters too.
If I zoom in/out the display will correct itself at certain magnifications, but then revert back at others. It seems to not happen when zoomed in at 66.7 or higher.
This is definitely an issue with the way PS renders the text on the screen, and appears to be tied to having the Navigator window open. If I close this window, the text tool works properly. However, since I use a dual monitor setup I’d kind of like to keep that window open.
Is there a solution to this other than closing the Navigator or zooming to 100%?
