Hi, I’ve been using Photoshop CS3 for just 2 days.

I feel something kind of weird about the selecting tool (Elliptical Marquee). As I drag the mouse, the ellipse won’t sketch from the point I first click to the point I last click; the selection moved itself off my desire boundary.
Secondly, as I drag, the pointer did not ‘overlap’ the selecting line, but moved faster.

Anyone know how to fix this? Please help!

Try experimenting by using Alt to define the centre and Shift to constrain to a circle.

add in the space bar to move your selection into position too.
