Weird request – I have a picture of friend who has just become pregnant. She has no "bulge" in the pic but I want to change it so she looks like she is 9 months pregnant. How do I do this? Can it be done with the distort function or can it be done in other ways?

Try Distort>Liquify and use the Bloat tool. You’ll have to experiment with the size of the ‘brush’ you use to get the right expansion with the bloat.
