Ann,

You mentioned in one of your posts that the easiest way to create a slide show was to build a gallery in Bridge. You gave a link to your Aquarium slide show which I enjoyed very much.

Please share how to build a gallery using Bridge.

Thanks.

Helen:

The Movie, to which Donald linked, explains the process fairly clearly but it was for Bridge CS3 and the process has been improved in CS4 where you now create galleries in the Output Panel.

For the Aquarium slide show I used an adaptation that I made from Bridge CS4’s Lightroom Flash Gallery/ "Nightlife" template.

If you have CS4 you can create a Collection; put files from various folders into the same Collection; and arrange them Manually.

("Collections" in CS3 were different and don’t work in this way unfortunately.)

Also, use the Save to Disk option (not the Upload to Web option) in Bridge because uploading an extensive Gallery can take a long time and will lock-up Bridge until it is complete. So save to Disk, and then upload separately (using Fetch or something like that).

Hope this helps — and I am so glad that you enjoyed the fishes!

🙂
