Hi. I created a fire text, on a black background, and now I’m trying to figure out how to blend the TEXT with a different background. I tried File>Place but that didn’t work out so well. Plz help!

I don’t know which tutorial you followed, but there are no better Photoshop-only Fire Text tutorials that I’ve ever seen than the one at the following link.

Maybe start over?

I tried. Making the fire text is no problem at all. My problem is turning the black background into a picture

I take it you’ve flattened your image?

What about going back to the original PSD and copying just the text and effects layers?

Post a thumbnail and link to the image you’re working on.

<http://www.pixentral.com> will work if you don’t have your own server space.
