I have a problem with CS2, a recently bought legitimate copy, installed on my computer, an Asus m/board, P4 at 3.00GHz, 1GB ram, and XP.

After about a month or so, an attempt to open CS2 gave me the following information:
"Username, Organization, or Serial Number is missing or invalid. Photoshop cannot continue and must exit".

The first time this happened, I reinstalled the program, re-validated it on line, and all was well – for another month or so. Now, it has done the same thing again.

Is this the continuing pattern I have to expect from this software, or is there something I have overlooked?

TIA,

Colin D.

OK, problem solved. Communication from Adobe states that some registry cleaner programs, among then System Suite 6, removes the activation information from the registry. Apparently there is a patch avilable from Vcom for this.
