Scanned image will not scale!

I have an image I have scanned it. It appears in PS2.0 as a 4×5 image but regardless of what I do it will not print on a 4×6 photo. It is alway clipped on the bottom. Even if i scale the 4×5 down to 80%. It makes no difference. I am printing on an HP 7960 photoprinter. What am I missing??

When you think about this a minute, you come to realize that a 4×5 cannot be 4×6 . You’ll have to upsize your image so you can crop a 4×6 selection from it. The other option is to turn off "constrain proportions" and stretch the image over the larger canvas ( but it won’t look right ) . This is a good technique if your subjects are a little chubby and you want to "lean them out" <G> .
