I really feel really stupid posting this but it is my own fault. Ever not used a function for a few years and then not being able to find it in updated versions! Sound fimilar?

In my really older versions of Photoshop, I could place an arrowhead at the start or end of a drawn line. For the life of me, I can’t see any option to do this in either my CS or 7.01 versions. Do I have to dig out my really old disks to find a Photoshop version that will do this?

I publish material with images and I used to use the arrowheads to draw attention to what I wanted to show. I’m getting back into that publishing mode. Can I do it with CS or 7.01?

It’s on the Options Bar. With the Line tool selected, look at the little dropdown triangle next to the Custom Shapes icon.

See "Setting shape tool options" in Help.

Many thanks, my problem was that I was looking at the pencil, not the "line tool".
