Hi,

I am trying to superimpose a series of traces from a recorder. When I am adding the layers I make sure to change the opacity but it results in some parts of the traces to be of original color (where there is no layer) and some has faded (layered one). I would like to know what I could do in order to keep the color of my traces strong and the same everywhere.

Thanks in advance.

Experiment with "blending modes".

To get a more specific answer, you’ll need to post the images in question somewhere like <http://www.pixentral.com> so we can see the precise nature of the problem.
