Creating New Doc – Error Message

Every time I go to open a new document in PhotoshopCS I am receiving a message that reads::

This is not a valid Portable Document File (PDF) document. It cannot be opened.

Then it allows me to create the new document. Is there a way that this can be removed from when I open docs????
