I upgraded from photoshop 6 to 8 and it caused my wacom intuos3 to behave eratically. I tried upgrading the wacom driver to the latest version, but it only made things worse. Basically, the tablet mouse is pointing incorrectly and behaves as if it were a pen . Is there any fix for this?

Works perfectly for me. I’d go through the Wacom Control Panel and check all your settings. Sure it’s not something simple like you have the wrong stylus or tablet specified?

Don’t have the tablet too close to the monitor.

Also, I have found it’s better NOT to have Photoshop chosen in the Applications section. I just have it set to All Applications.

Maybe trash Photoshop Preferences.
