How to Get Captions Which I Created in Photoshop to Display on CD?

I spent hours creating 160 captions of digital pictures in a Photoshop slide show (I think it’s called a catalog). I then burned the catalog to a CD. When I went to play the slideshow from the CD, there were no captions displayed under or on the images. How do I make it so the captions are displayed? How, if at all, do I control/set the color and font size of the captions? Thanks in advance. NL
